“Lucy , Lucy” Mickey yells across the empty farm,
“What's up brother?” Lucy mouths in sign language.
“Ughh school” Mickey stomps around the farm. By the way Lucy is deaf. Mickey and Lucy's stepmom comes running out in fear “kids come.” They walk inside to find they're fading grandpa lying on the chair. Quickly Lucy signs
“We need help he’s going to die”, Lucy curls up into a circle and starts to collapse into tears. Petter Lucy's dad starts to rub Lucy’s back. Linda turns around to where Mickey stood in tears. She realized Mickey had run out of the house and into the bearing sunshine. Looking for access finally she finds Mickey hoping on the horse to run away. Linda catches him before he could get away, “Why are you trying to run away Mickey yall die in this heat”. Mickey says in tears “I can't bear to see grandpa this way.”
“Honey he's going to be fine he has the doctors to look after him.” “Let's go back inside to sit down and have a chat.” We walk slowly inside to feel something touch Mickey's back. Turning to look behind me it's grandpa saying he will be fine. My heart melts into tears. Linda sits down with Mickey.
“Would you like some food Mickey?” “Absolutely i'm starving”.
